Sandfly Lures, More than meets the eye.
The man behind Sandfly Lures is Clayton Kuhl, his passion for creating handmade custom lures comes from a mix of his love of woodcraft and painting, and love of fishing, especially reeling in a big Yellow belly in the Condamine River around Dalby Qld.
He found that the commercial lures available just weren't cutting it, so he played around with some timber, and Aluminium bibs, to find the perfect swimmer, that was the first Sandfly Lure....
Since then Clayton has gone on to make some of the most wonderful custom designed, collectable lures available.
All lures are handmade, carved and signed by Clayton. Sandfly Lures are timber hard body fishing and display lures, made from Australian Timbers and Aluminium Bib and hardware.
Desiged for: Dams, Creeks and Rivers.
Technique: Trolling, Casting and Flicking - On the Banks or on a Boat.
